I'm looking for a free flash player that does not have Adobe's habit of launching unrequested updates. Any suggestions?

Hi Catmoon,

Don't think anyone besides Adobe make the free flash player, but I could be wrong or misunderstand your query. Maybe there's a setting for update that you could turnoff.
