I was just trying to avoid making a judgment about whether Buddhist philosophy was more or less worthwhile than observing decision making in chickens. :tongue:

Yup, it's a perfecty reasonable question. Really why would anyone look to a biologist for spiritual or philsophical guidance? No matter how brilliant he is, its still kind of like getting a plumber to roof your house.

Well this plumber's gonna convince you that all roofing everywhere is always useless since roofs are illusory, while plumbing (somewhat conveniently) isn't. If Futerko's a roofer, atleast [s]he hasn't prejudged the relative usefulness of plumbing :tongue:
