Those red & blue circles

What do the different red & blue circles on the left side of the board index mean? Some are 'scrolling' some have stars. can you please put an explanation in your FAQ's? thanks.

The Chinese characters are Fo (buddha) and Ming (bright). The image is of a student of Buddhism, who, imagining himself to be a monk, and not understanding the true meaning of the words takes the sound of the words literally. blue means they hadn't activity since your last visit.
red means they had new activity since your last visit.
scrolling means they have more than 1 page length.
The red star means you've participated in the topic.
The lock means the topic is locked.
The little circle inside the big circle means the forum has sub forums.
Announcements have an i.
Is there any other symbol around?
This is what I understand from observing the forum. I may be wrong, but surely you'll have "official" feedback.

I've noticed there are a few more symbols, but you can sort them out by yourself. It's not hard.
