I think it would be worth considering to include groups, that tell more about interest than position/function of the person in the forum. So members can connect better with people, who share their interests. E-Sangha had something similar with the "groups" for ordained members and we could improve the forum with these groups (for ordained and interests like "Gelugpa", "Tendaishū") etc.

I don't understand. You mean groups just for priests or the ordained?

I meant groups for the ordained members and groups for certain fields of interest. The advantage could be, that users could browse these groups and see, who on this forum is ordained and who has similar interests. Hmm on second thought the idea of having groups for members with similar interest doesn't make much sense, but I still think having groups for ordained could be an improvement.
