A corner for children

Would it be wise to have a forum for children where they could read simple stories on the Dharma ? It should have pictures of the Buddhas.Even knowing the names of the Buddhas and learning simple mantras associated to them is a good start for our children.Children can be very gifted and are good at remembering names.Most look at a picture and can give us the name of the Buddha from their sharp memories.Simple Dharma related stories could give them a better footing in Buddhism.Most of them are even better than us at the computer.Parents could sit with them for a few minutes a day explaining the Dharma to them.However those registered in this section, should be barred to post or comment in all the other sections. They should only be given access to their little corner.

The site talks of a publication eventually being offered, but the downloads look great!

For the younger ones, colouring mandalas etc is fun - and of course right now they can make a snow Buddha if they have the materials outside. Avoid yellow snow..
