Some smilies are out of order

Postby Ayu » Sat Mar 15, 2014 2:42 am

 = shrug
:namaste: = namaste
:techproblem: = techproblem
:tantrum: = tantrum

This could lead to strange conversation also for older postings.

They work well on my computer. Or did you mean they're inappropriate?

P.S.:

...or did you maybe accidentally set the option "display smilies as images" to no?

There's a similar option under "Edit preferences" -> "enable smilies by default":

Strange.

On my IPad "shrug", "techproblem" and "namaste" are not there anymore. But they are shown as "evil", "the saint with sunglasses" and "tantrum".
So if I wanted to show the smilie "namaste", there is now "tantrum" instead. And for example every posting of Kim O'Hara ends with :namaste: (tantrum) instead of namaste.

That's weird. This is how your post looks on my computer - everything's normal:

:rolling:

That's hilarious. Now I understand why you worry about conversation on this board.

Unfortunately I don't know a thing about iPads - I've no idea how this can happen.

Yes, funny, isn't it?
But if my iPad is the only one here freaking out, than it is not such a problem. And some smilies are still functioning okay.

Aaaaaahhhhh, . Now they are nearly right again.
Only "shrug" looks like "evil".
