In Feb 1989 I was coming home from spending 3 months at my teacher's centre in India and stopped over in Singapore for a couple of days. In my wanderings I came across a Buddhist supplies shop and they had quite a range. Ever since returning, I've occasionally kicked myself for not bringing one home.
When I was in Myanmar 18 months ago I didn't see any small glass or perspex stupa-shaped relic containers. I did, however, see thousands of arahant relics at various locations inc. Mandalay Hill in garden variety glass jars.
Sorry I couldn't be more help.
“No lists of things to be done. The day providential to itself. The hour. There is no later. This is later. All things of grace and beauty such that one holds them to one's heart have a common provenance in pain. Their birth in grief and ashes.”
- Cormac McCarthy, The Road
Learn this from the waters:
in mountain clefts and chasms,
loud gush the streamlets,
but great rivers flow silently.
- Sutta Nipata 3.725
