If you wish to be born into the Pure Land then read the 18th Vow of Amitabha Buddha........with sincere faith and devotion ask to be reborn into his Pure Land.

If your interested in the Chan/Pure Land outlook check out.

Hey ArabicBuddhist,

Here is something I am currently reading on Chan and Pure Land Buddhism: http://buddhiststudies.berkeley.edu/peo ... 20Land.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The PDF seems to refute the notion that Pure Land was a distinct school in China. It argues more for the naturalness of Pure Land teachings as part of Chan and Buddhism in general in China.
