I was wondering if anyone here has had experiencing taking Triphala as a daily supplement? I've been taking two at night before bed for the past week or so, but I've been told that it generally takes a few weeks to become most efficacious as a digestive aid. It was recommended to me by my mate, who's ayurvedic specialist told him 'everyone should take it'. Now, while I am generally a bit skeptical of blanket statements (especially those falling within the realm of 'medical' advice), after a bit of research it seems that this particular recommendation is actually more the norm than the exception within ayurvedic circles. Supposedly helps with IBS and other digestive ails.
For the moment I'm going to continue taking it, but I was just wondering what everyone else's experiences had been while taking it?
