I was searching for zamongyal on the internet and this forum popped up. So I thought I would read some posts and contribute where I can. I do enjoying learning, finding resources, or sharing resources with others.
I had many stops and starts with various buddhist groups/traditions as a teenager until I moved out to Victoria, BC when I started spending time on Salt Spring Island at Kalu Rinpoche's retreat centre. I loved it there, although I knew it was not home.
Several years later...back in Ontario
A friend had a friend who had a friend whose brother was a tibetan monk...he was giving a public talk, I went and met H.E. 7th Kundrol Rinpoche. I had never even heard of Bon but when I met Kundrol Rinpoche I knew I was home.
So that's a bit about me! I look forward to seeing YOU around the forum!
