My name is Chris Abshear, I am a beginner in Tibetan Buddhism.
I was a Soka Gakkai member a few years ago. Due to some disagreements, I had with the Gakkai, I left it and -sadly- turned to a much darker path in life for awhile (LaVeyan Satanism). I almost lost my marriage and family over a really empty philosophy. So, I decided to return to Buddhism, I had researched and attempted others forms of Buddhism when I was younger and enjoyed the views and images of Tibetan practice. I hope to learn alot and enhance my practice with many of the things I learn here. Thanks for having me.
