Hi everyone

I took refuge about 8 years ago and lived in a Tibetan Buddhist Centre for a couple of years in Brisbane, Australia.

Life's taken many twists and turns and my practice has suffered as a result so I hope to educate myself once again.

Good to hear from you, how did you find living in a buddhist community? I have often thought about ordaining because I cannot afford the traditional 3 year retreat.

for me it was fantastic. It was a very small centre and held only meditation classes. I used to stay at another bigger centre some weekends for teachings.
I was hoping to move to the bigger centre but where it is situated i had no way of supporting myself financially.
