My name is Pieter and I am 18 years old.
I'm from the Netherlands and I've been busy with buddhism for a few years now, but my interest is growing and growing. Now I am studying catholic theology and I also get classes about buddhism which makes me want to get more involved with Buddhism. And now that I live in Amsterdam,I hope to visit the Chinese Buddhist temple more often now. I also try to learn Chinese and Japanese in my free time, it's one of my hobbies.

I hope I can learn a lot here and thus improving myself, and meet lots of nice people!

Hi Bouzutje,

Welcome to Dharma Wheel.

Maybe you collect a lot of important writings,
Major texts, personal instructions, private notes, whatever.
If you haven’t practiced, books won’t help you when you die.
Look at the mind – that’s my sincere advice.
