Greetings from Retrofuturist

Postby retrofuturist » Wed Apr 08, 2009 10:49 am

Greetings,

I'm a Theravadin Buddhist looking to walk the way of the Dharma with my fellow Buddhist wayfarers. To quote the Beatles, "I'll get by with a little help from my friends". The Beatles also said, "All you need is love", which is also pretty good advice I think.

Thank you to David for creating this site. I hope it will be of benefit to all the bodhisattvas and bodhisattva aspirants who are following the road to Buddhahood for the sake of all sentient beings. Conventionally speaking, I'm a sentient being, so I appreciate your work... I'd like to be enlightened, so consider me a willing subject.

:buddha2:

May all beings be happy.

Metta,
Retro. :)
Live in concord, with mutual appreciation, without disputing, blending like milk and water, viewing each other with kindly eyes

Welcome Retro :D
Those who are lust-infatuated fall back to the swirling current (of samsara) like a spider on its self-spun web. This too the wise cut off. Without any longing, they abandon all dukkha and renounce the world
