Hi everyone,
I posted here for a while when this site first began. I've been away for a while because I've been busy with so many things: work, school, Buddhism, life, etc.
I've learned a lot more about Vajrayana in the time that I was gone from this site. I went to a Medicine Buddha retreat over the summer. I just received Phowa teachings and a Vajrasattva empowerment. I got to see some Buddhist relics from Shakyamuni, Milarepa, Tsongkhapa, etc. I was fortunate enough to receive many blessings and teachings from several wise and generous lamas. I helped my sangha prepare for their celebration of H.H. the Dalai Lama's birthday (he wasn't there, but two famous Kagyu lamas came, and we had tasty Indian food and did a Mahakala puja for the public with all the usual drums and horns). I'll probably go to a Lojong retreat this weekend...
I'm busy with many things, but maybe I'll try to post here occasionally. Too much talk often isn't good. Bad talk creates bad karma. It's often best to just shut up and meditate according to your teacher's instructions.
I'm glad to see that this site is still active and growing. I wish everyone here success with their Buddhist meditations. OM MANI PEME HUNG
Okay, I'll shut up now.
