Introduction post

Post by nerdjpg »

Hello I am Alicia and I am from Baltimore.
I hope to learn as much as I can about Buddhism.
I feel like it is the right path for me and it has been pulling me for some time.
It seems as if there is so much information about Buddhism I don't know where to begin.
I know only a few things about Buddhism so any advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Hi Alicia,

Welcome to the neighborhood! If you're eager to learn, the most important thing is to find yourself a teacher who knows what he or she is talking about, and practice according to his or her instructions. There are many good places in Baltimore to practice, and one or two apples too. Feel free to ask for advice on where to go, and where to skip, if you like.

Again, welcome to DharmaWheel.
