Greetings, reflextions and Vajra Song Online Jam

Postby DzogchenCentral » Mon Jun 23, 2014 12:07 pm

Greetings Vajra friends online

I am a Dzogchen practitioner and scholar, currently spending (semi retreat) time in Rewalsar, Tso Pema, India
and a long time student of Namkhai Norbu , as well as other teachers
I am particularly interested in exploring the relevance of Dzogchen to all spiritual practices and disciplines
(including Shivaism, Christianity, etc)

Although I live in a Dharma place, surrounded by the most authentic teachers and practitioners who give teaching and transmissions
we practice in Guru Rimpoche's caves, I am finding NNs teachings, revelations and books the most extensive, clear and articulated.

I am helping to organise some information about his forthcoming trip to India. Some info here for those who may be interested

Living remotely means that most of my interactions with practitioners happen online, I am truly grateful for mailing lists, and for the
the webcasts teaching. Glad to have found Dharmawheel!

Have started appreciating the importance of the Song of Vajra, currently doing singalongs in my retreat room with recordings on
youtube. Would like to experiment (if I find other volunteers) to have online jam sessions where we all sing and play vajra songs online
together in real time.wouldn't that be fun? if it works out we could have regular sessions. Here a couple of
websites to help with that, such as

https://www.jam-live.com/
http://diymusician.cdbaby.com/2013/12/v ... xperience/

if someone is up for that, please contact me offlist and we ll organise something and circulate the event here
(I am travelling til September tho, so please be patient til then)

Also, would like to purchase a PDF copy of the ebook relating to the current teaching I have been unable to do so online . can anyone help?

Look forward to exchanges

What a nice idea. But have these websites solved the problem of synchronicity?

Hi DzogchenCentral,

Welcome to DharmaWheel. I'm sure you'll find more than a few Dzogchen practitioners here.
DGA's PhD dissertation, a history of "mindfulness," is available here:
