Greetings!

Post by dhammafriend »

Hello everybody

I'm a lay practitioner who's formally taken refuge (Theravadin) about 12 years ago. I'm in my early thirties trying to keep precepts, mediation practice in my busy daily life. I have a huge interest in Buddhist scholarship, and the challenges contemporary Buddhist communities / societies face in the 21st century.

I find East Asian Mahayana Buddhism fascinating and really hoping to learn more here.
I'm Theravada based scripturally but believe all schools as teaching valid dharma / dhamma.
I also have a strong affinity with Bodhisattva GuanYin.
