Hi Everyone! My name is Stephanie, I'm from Detroit, Michigan in the United States. I first started learning about Buddhism in my teen years (Im 27 now) but over the last 2 years or so I've decided to really put what I've learned into practice. I'm the only one I know thats into the Buddha and his teachings so my path has been a little lonely so far! It's so good to be a part of the beautiful thing you've created here online, and I look forward to hearing all your thoughts!

Hi Stephanie,

I'm happy that you like this site. I know very well what it's like to be a lonely western Buddhist. However, if you continue following Buddhist teachings and looking for opportunities, I think you will eventually find a sangha or some fellow Buddhists somewhere. That is what happened to me.

I'm 29 and slowly being dragged towards the big three oh.
