hello

Introduce yourself to others at Dharma Wheel.

hello

Postby Ari » Thu Aug 15, 2013 12:31 pm

I've been in and out of buddhism over the past few years. There's no sangha in my city, therefore I don't have a teacher (which saddens me a lot).
I'm a vegetarian, able to concentrate well, meditate, keep myself cool and all that. But I lack understanding.
Sometimes I just wish I could sit with someone wiser than me and talk for a few hours until a bubble lights up in my head.
So if anybody (I doubt that there is anyone more clueless than me here) would be so kind as to have a conversation with me, I'd be over the moon (English, Polish, Japanese and simple French are OK).
I'm a young person interested in music (just listening), cooking (though not very good at it), languages, traveling (been to 9 countries so far) and people.
In the future I see myself as a nurse.
I hope everybody here has a great day.

Hello Ari,

I hope you'll enjoy to be at Dharmawheel and may you meet wise people. But as you see, there are less Saints around.
Have a good time,

Hi Ari. Have you considered an online course guided by a teacher, three are numerous ones......Bodhicarya with Ringu Tulku, Dharma Sun with Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche.....I think that some guidance and a gradual path will be of help to you....

Thank you for all the replies. The cat photo made my day! I'll check out those courses. ^^

:anjali:
