Hello from England :)

Postby Obsidian Raven » Mon Aug 05, 2013 9:26 pm

Hello there, I hope you have a good day.

I guess I am a self taught beginner who is learning from the Theravada Tradition, the tradition's teachings had a lot in common with how I was trying to live my life so it seemed like a natural choice, although I would like to know more about the other traditions, I am after all still a novice :) . At the moment I am still studying the Four Noble truths and the Eight Fold Path, and teaching myself how to live a fuller, more enlightened life. I will be moving to Luton soon so I can be closer to family, I am looking forward to the changes the move will bring, as well as looking forward to restarting Aikido and meeting new people and making new friends. Which brings me to why I joined this forum, I am hoping to make friends and learn from folks that have a moment to spare, as well as hopefully meet other Buddhists who might happen to be in Luton, Dunstable, Houghton Regis area.

I guess that is all for now.

:)

We are all novices, it is just that some of us have yet to realise that . . . :namaste:
Good luck in your move and studies. Let us know how you get on :woohoo:
