greetings Sangha, from beautiful Brooklyn, New York, where I'm a painter and "arts professional".
I began my practice of zazen some 15 years ago- I sat for several years, fell away for several more, and have been back on it seriously for about a year now. I sit mostly by myself and but have and do sit with local Sanghas occasionally. I recently did my second zazenkai with a group. I've also affiliated with other online groups, still, it does seem I'm basically on some trajectory similar to the Pratyekabuddha one. my practice, shikantaza, was given to me years ago by my then-Roshi. it continues to unfold daily in my lap.
thank you all for the support of your practices and for this opportunity to sit in with you.
gassho,
Robert
