everyone
I am TeeFah from France, and very happy to be here !
From very young an experience lead me to Sanatana Dharma, which I have been practicing over for many years. I do not come here to debate or proletyzing so don't worry Since some time I have been interested in Buddhism in a broad sense, but never dig too much. People around me, and in the philosophical school I choosed, told me that Buddhism was very different from Sanatana Dharma, and that I shouldn't have any interest in it as I will loose myself in contradictory practices.
Maybe it is true
But recently I discovered VajraYogini. And I honestly don't know what happened. Like the first time I encoutered Mahadeva in a temple, it was some kind of eye opening view, experience.
I began to look for informations and references on Tibetan Buddhism...And surprisingly I've found the countrary of what I've been told: an inspiring path, with very precise practices and Tantra not that far of what I'm studying. I realized it wasn't a complete different path.
I've brought books about it, "initiation de KalaChakra" by Sri Dalai Lama and Alexander Berzin, and "Tantra suivi de Célébration d'un sacre" by Trungpa Chogyam. These are the very firsts books on tis matter, I've began to read the first and find great contentement in it !
I do not wish to argue between Sanatana Dharma and Buddhism, just to explore a different way. I have many reasons to seek toward Vajrayana, but I would not like to expose them here as they are very closely related to my personnal life and I don't want to disrespect anyone in my path, as it is a great way with great people too.
Unfortunately there are many things I'm not sure about and would like to ask, stepping into something as wide as Buddhism and Vajrayana is confusing, seeing all different schools and traditions and...Confusing !
Since it is very important to be guided at beginning not to start with wrong assumptions and engage in teachings or practices I shouldn't yet, I've come here on advice from some members here that are on other forums where I am too to you all
Please excuse my poor english, If you want to point important mistakes, please do, I will be happy to learn :3
AUM
