I am studying a red deity Khyentse sadhana and it says at some point to burn power substances as incense.
Would anyone be so kind as to give me examples of what "powerful substances" are in this case?

I believe it's Apong Terton's standing red Tara. We practice it on some Chagdud Gonpa centres on dakini days (every other day is the sitting red Tara text, the one just bellow the main figure). It's also the text used for this particular lineage empowerment, even if the main practice is the sitting ...
