Re: Is all knowing state same as Higher Self?

Certainly seems so, quite puzzling in facts as it completely negates karma and reincarnation, as having any relevance. Actually, quite the opposite. The lack of an inherent self is precisely why those things are relevant. "Not self to mean there is no self at all " = Above concepts not re...

Re: Is all knowing state same as Higher Self?

And what enters pariNirvana ? (if one aspires to that) Nothing - must be the conclusion, so that concep...

Re: "All cognitions broght about by words are ultimately fal

My two cents: "Knowing the path, is not walking the path" - like "Thinking and doing is not the same" those sentences are like words about words. By understanding the words, you can think "thinking about this does not show me what it really is, it must be experienced" s...

Re: The Idea of Madhyamaka and Yogacara as Equally Correct

Just wanted to say to rob h - your posts are very illuminating, and I agree with most if not all your propositions. Especially: "The phenomena we experience while we're in our current state could be more or less empty, but not our actual awareness. We can't be just mindless drones with no essen...
