Re: Lama Ole Nydahl, what do you think?

The female tulku Jetsuma in USA is doing it.

She is fake tulku or real tulku ?

And some high tulkus , nyingma yogi lama with consorts whom I do not want to name here , is ordaining monks and nuns.

You guys information are not updated.

Re: Lama Ole Nydahl, what do you think?

If you have a choice learn from the Tibetan lamas if you want to learn vajrayana.

You learn from a western lama you are getting 2nd hand information.

But in the west you do not have a lot of choices like in the east.

Re: Lama Ole Nydahl, what do you think?

dzoki

you have been ill -informed.

Lay high tulkus lamas do ordained monks and nuns.

This is disallowed in Mahayana and Theravada but in Varjayana , they are doing it.

Re: Lama Ole Nydahl, what do you think?

SakyaMuni Buddha did not set up the monks and nuns system for play and fun. Those 200 + 300+ precepts that they took were laid out by Buddda himelf to help practitioners gain enlightenment faster. Only later then you have "lay lamas" And some lay lamas who are tulkus ordained the monks/nun...

Re: A prayer wheel blessing from Drubwang Rinpoche

Drubwang Rinpoche has many students.

Nupa Rinpoche is his heart son.

Another one is Rabsang Rinpoche.

Drubwang Rinpoche is the greatest mahamudra accomplisher in the recent
history of varjayana

He did it in just one life time.

He spend 30-40 years in retreat.
