I'm sorry you are suffering so much. Chronic pain and loss are very, very challenging teachers. I would definitely second the Kabat-Zin recommendation. Also, do you have a teacher who you could speak to, and who could recommend specific practices? I would also agree with the suggestion to help other...

I would ask a Tibetan Lama living the U.S.A. who has connections there. (Tibet ~ The Golden City) Also, your personal safety would be a concern. Also be aware of the safety of the monastics too, and the impact of your presence. As the situation in Tibet is so fragile in Tibet at present, especially...
