If we want to become better – that is, more patient, more loving, kinder, happier people – then we need to practice. We all know that it takes time and effort to becom...

Re: Great teaching on Nagarjuna

There must be some weird synchronicity going on because I am really into this Swamiji right now. I think he's great I love him. He also has a great one on Chandrakirti: https://youtu.be/vAZPWu084m4?si=kU1GExrne7v7OC2v In that one he is arguing that Atman survives Chandrakirti's sevenfold reasoning. ...

Or as Situ Rinpoche says,, “If you want non- duality I have friends in the Ramakrishna Vedanta movement, say that I sent you.”. :sage: Non-duality in this system either refers to the nonexistence of the extremes of permanence and annihilation or the non-appearance of a cognizing subject and its obj...

Re: Ignorance in a practical sense

I don't want to hear that the only solution to ignorance is enlightenment, that is ultimately true, but I want to know the relative truth. There are many meanings of relative truth depending on which level of skillful means is good for you. Ignorance of what? The four noble truths, dependent origin...
