Re: Dzogchen Community of Chogyal Namkhai Norbu

DeepBlueHum: I'm not looking to have my hand held. I do appreciate your perspective, but what you described wasn't what I was hoping for. What were you hoping for? What's the matter, you don't want to talk to me anymore? Way to cut me off and act distant. He he. Now that is funny. I laughed out lou...

Re: Dzogchen Community of Chogyal Namkhai Norbu

Thanks all for your replies. Expectations and emotions have gone their way. It's great to be here and have this experience. DeepBlueHum: I'm not looking to have my hand held. I do appreciate your perspective, but what you described wasn't what I was hoping for. I 'enjoy' ChNN approach as well. Thank...

Re: Dzogchen Community of Chogyal Namkhai Norbu

With all that I said before, in my previous post....I have a sort of bone to pick. Before I say anything though let me preface it with this: ChNN is amazing!! His teaching is amazing (method and introduction). The community though, in my very weak and humble opinion, could use some work. I came out ...

Re: Dzogchen Community of Chogyal Namkhai Norbu

I feel extremely fortunate to be able to be out here in Pasadena and attending the retreat in person. I am speechless. Each day the teaching gets better and better, more to the heart and essence, I am amazed at the clarity and directness of the information and instruction. Every time a question aris...

Re: Basic questions

Duckfiasco, Based upon my experience, I would think a good place to start to get a good foundational understanding of Dzogchen, and to get 'prepared' for transmission/direction introduction, would be to read "The Crystal and The Way of Light". For me, this book was key to help me have a ba...

Re: ChNNR Dorje Drolo retreat

I just checked the webcast web-page and was unable to see this listed as an upcoming web-cast. Can somebody tell me what time-zone this will take place in?

Thank you!

Re: Trigeminal Neuralgia

Just FYI...

It appears there was a physical root cause that is possible to treat and isn't 'serious'. Thank you again for your time and information.

Re: Trigeminal Neuralgia

Will do. I'm hoping one way or another there is a way to repair the myelin sheath. I have read that massage helps the myelin sheath in infants that are growing, but not sure of it's the same case for adults and already generated nerves. If it could potentially do some good for her, then I can contin...

Thank you for your time and response. We hope to find a 'root-cause' with the MRI.

My wife has been recently diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia. She has been experiencing episodes off and on for almost a year now. Recently the pain has not subsided and she is scheduled for an Brain MRI in the near future to help determine a cause. I would like to find out if there is anything we ...
